2011 Shortlist
The shortlist for the Book Awards is divided by category (Fiction, Non-fiction, Poetry and First Book).
The winning book in each category was announced on the 16th of May – more information on the four books can be found here. Each finalist will win £5000 and will be eligible for the title of Scottish Book of the Year; an accolade which carries an additional prize of £25,000.
